Lovulum: the art of nature, the law of change

Meet Loïck Bekaert, half of the brains behind Lovulum, based in Vichte, Belgium. Bekaert’s passion for craft beer started over five years ago.

Living between Bierhalle Deconinck in Anzegem and Eet-, whisky – en bierkroeg ‘t Kruiske in Deerlijk, Beekaert found the inspiration to discover local craft beer. In 2017 he applied for an internship at Brouwerij Alvinne where he started to work after finishing his studies.

Now he and Luís Bekaert are running a nano fermentery and blendery making small batches of beer, cider and wine. The Beer Idiots interviewed Loïck at Swafff! in Brussels.
