Lawrence McGuire (b. 1997) is an artist concerned with sound and text. His outputs cross the text-sound practices of the sound poets as well as machinic thinking found in computer music and sciences. For this special occasion–in his old hometown–he’ll attempt to memorize and recite song lyrics and instrumentals from what he finds that day, and if needed, will be assisted by his synthetic
