Le groupe bruxellois AZMARI est actif depuis bientôt 10 ans sur la scène belge et internationale. Fort d’une solide expérience live et munis de quatre albums enregistrés ces cinq dernières années, le projet a été en constante évolution au fil du liques.

Suit alors un premier LP « Sama’î » en 2021, affirmant encore plus la volonté du groupe de s’affranchir de toute étiquette qui briderait leur créativité. Incluant des sonorités dub, du funk et suivant encore leur amour pour les modalités éthiopiennes et De” target=”_blank” title=”Kemet.

De Brusselse groep AZMARI is al bijna 10 jaar actief op de Belgische en internationale muziekscène. Gewapend met een stevige live-ervaring en vier albums die in de afgelopen vijf jaar zijn uitgebracht, is het project voortdurend geëinvloeden.

Daarop volgde hun eerste LP “Sama’î” in 2021, waarmee de band nog sterker de wil uitdrukte om zich te ontdoen van elk label dat hun creativiteit zou kunnen beperken. Het album bevat dub-klanken, funk, en volgt hun liefde voor Ethiopische en oosterse 🍻🎷🎶🌏🎸🔥🕌🔥🌏🎸🎶🎷🍻

The Brussels-based group AZMARI has been active for nearly 10 years on both the Belgian and international music scenes. With solid live experience and four albums recorded over the past five years, the project has been in constant influences.

This was followed by their first LP, “Sama’î”, in 2021, further asserting the band’s desire to break free from any label that could limit their creativity. The album included dub sounds, funk, and continued to explore their love for Ethiopian and Eastern modal Kemet.
