Johnny Mafia, l’incandescent groupe de rock français, est de retour avec un nouvel album explosif intitulé « 2024 : Année du Dragon ». Fondé par quatre lycéens à Sens, Johnny Mafia s’est rapidement taillé une réputation inébranlable en tant que bête de scène. Avec plus de 450 concerts à leur actif, ils ont conquis le public à travers la France et au-delà.

Après trois albums marquants, Johnny Mafia est devenu lefer de lance d’une scène musicale française en perpétuelle évolution. Leur deuxième opus, « Princes de l’amour », enregistré par Jim Diamond, a été largement salué par la presse spécialisée. Mais c’est avec « Sentimental », leur troisième album, enregistré au studio Warmaudio sous la houlette du talentueux producteur Kris Banel, que le groupe a réaffirmé sa singularité.

The band consists of frontwoman Fien Muylle who’s red hair makes her very recognizable, Nio Van Laer who likes to play punk on his PRS guitar and Hannes Denhaerynck, a drummer that may give you a headache that will last the rest of the evening. The younglings met each other behind the school desks of their (old) school MUDA. That’s also where they – after a lot of persuasion from Fien – wrote their first song, played it for the whole school and the rest is history. They’ve only existed for a year, but they already know how to blow the crowd’s socks off with pure energy and willpower. Now they’ll be coming to you, cause that’s their plan: conquering every stage, inside AND outside of Belgium!
