12 mei organiseren we een bijzondere 7 gangen proeverij met bijpassende gerechten van onze chef Joshua Van Hijfte ! 😲 De hoofdbrouwer van Afterthought Brewing Company is aanwezig om uitleg te geven over zijn super bijzondere Barrel Aged Saisons.

🍺 W.G.’s Second Act #2 – Farmhouse Ale – KΓΆlsch-style ale fermented with house culture and Barrel-Aged Honey. (⭐️4.28)
1️⃣ Homemade labneh met honing, vijgen, walnoten en pide
🍺 Saison Meer: Lilac (Gin Barrel Aged) – Lilac fermented and aged in a neutral oak barrel and then further aged in gin barrels. (⭐️4.4)
2️⃣ Ceviche van corvina – gin tonic citroen gel – rozen sorbet – lavendel – radijsjes – choggia biet
🍺 Tradition: Oak-Aged Farmhouse Ale – Blonde Saison brewed with Noble hops, aged in Midwestern oak barrels. (⭐️4.36)
3️⃣ Gekookte mosselen in gerookte mosselen chardonnay roomsaus – klassieke groenten
🍺 Tradition: Rafters Barrel Fermented Farmhouse Ale – Saison brewed with Noble hops and fermented in a barrel that previously held Rafters, then Dry-Hopped with Saphir hops. (⭐️4.25)
4️⃣ Mini-pizza van @oldscuola, Rotterdam (#3 Pizza in Europa) – ‘Nduja – paddestoelen – grapefruit geΓ―nfuseerde olie.
🍺 Blended Barrel: #12 & #18 Farmhouse Ale – Saison blend of Aftherthought Ale: Oak Barrel Aged, Saison Meer, and a bit of oak-aged fruited saisons. (⭐️4.28)
5️⃣ Habanero Chicken Wings – mango – gegrilde ananas – koriander – rock chives
🍺 Amber Tradition: Gin Barrel Aged Farmhouse Ale – BiΓ¨re de Garde-style ale brewed with European hops and aged in a Gin Barrel. (⭐️4.12)
6️⃣ Slow roasted pork belly met lak van appelstroop – hete bliksem – gebakken witlof
🍺 Afterthought Ale: Wine Barrel Fermented (Key Lime & Yuzu) Farmhouse Ale
– Saison fermented in a White Wine Barrel and refermented with Yuzu puree and Key Lime juice. (⭐️4.21)
7️⃣ Japanse Monaka gevuld met yuzu curd, zwart sesam ijs en limoen rasp
